Is there a Quick Start Guide I can read?

Yes, we have a Fuze Movie Quick Start Guide.

Can I use Macintosh and Windows versions of Fuze Movie together in a session?

Absolutely. Operationally, the programs are identical, save for the normal differences between Mac and Windows programs that one expects (using the Command key as opposed to the Control key for example).

Can I install Fuze Movie on more then one computer?

Yes. You may download, copy and install as many Mac and Windows versions of Fuze Movie as you like. Most of our customers install copies on their laptops, desktops at work, at home - you name it. They even point their clients or associates to our download section so that they too can be ready to participate in group review sessions.

If I own multiple Fuze Movie licenses, can I let my clients use them?

Yes. The Fuze Movie licenses that you purchase from us are yours to keep forever, but with Fuze Movie's "floating" licensing system, you can assign licenses to your clients anytime you wish via Fuze Movie's built in "License Manager".

Is Fuze Movie a streaming media player?

No, Fuze Movie does not stream media, but Fuze Movie Pro does allow media to be viewed immediately via a progressive download while viewing the media.

How do I get my media to others in my session?

It's easy! If you're the creator of the content, simply enter your FTP info into Fuze Movie Pro's Transfer Manager, select the media files to upload and click START. SVP will keep track of where the media "lives" and the login FTP info required to go fetch it. So (for example), if you're in a remote session with a client and you load one of your media files into the player, the client will automatically being viewing and downloading the media without ever having to know where it came from! What types of media files does Fuze Movie support?

Generally speaking, any file that QuickTime can handle can be played back by Fuze Movie, though we're quite partial to H.264 (AVC). We'll be publishing some specifications at NAB with our recommendations for codecs, scaling and GOP sizes to ensure the best performance for your needs.

Can I use audio files with Fuze Movie?

Yes! You have all the same capabilities that you have with video media, you just won't see any moving pictures! You can also use most still image file formats like JPEG, GIG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, PSD, etc.

Is there any restriction to aspect ratios and screen sizes for movies?

Again, as a general rule, if QuickTime can play it on your computer - you can use it in a Fuze Movie session. Ultimately you will be limited to what your CPU and video card can handle.

How fast a connection to the Internet do I need to properly run Fuze Movie?

A DSL or cable modem will provide plenty of bandwidth for a successful session. Dial-up is out of the question!

Can I talk with Fuze Movie participants via the integrated Skype function while collaborating on movie files?

Yes, but your computer must meet certain minimum specifications to host BOTH VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) calls and a Fuze Movie session.
